The UK AD and Biogas Industry Awards, organised by letsrecycle.com and the Anaerobic Digestion and Biogas Association, take place on 3 July at the NEC in Birmingham.

Malaby Biogas are finalists in three categories including:

- Best AD Project

- Outstanding use of land through integration of AD

- Innovation in Food Waste Collection

Thomas Minter, Director of Malaby Biogas, said:

"We are very pleased to have been selected as finalists for all three categories we submitted our project for.

This is recognition of the excellent work that we have all done over the last year in taking a well built plant and operating it efficiently. We always believed that an AD plant didn’t need to be hidden away and could be an asset to any community. Providing clever ways of making the local area greener and supporting other business activities on the same site are both pivotal to our our philosophy of integrated development. Becoming finalists is a welcome recognition of our efforts."
